This washed Kenyan coffee comes from the Karimikui washing station in Kirinyaga, one of the country’s most respected coffee-growing regions. Grown at around 1,800 meters above sea level, the coffee is managed by the Rung’eto Farmers Cooperative Society, with cherries delivered by producers from Githureia, Gituba, and Kia Mugumo.

Kirinyaga is known for producing coffees with clarity, intensity, and a distinctly fruit-driven profile. In this lot, the classic Kenyan varieties SL28 and SL34 express themselves through a vibrant cup with bright acidity, red fruit character, and a dense, lingering finish.

The washed process brings precision and structure to the cup, resulting in a coffee that feels clean, focused, and flavor-dense without losing balance.

A classic expression of Kenyan coffee—lively, polished, and especially well suited for filter brewing.
